Will CKD Affect My Appetite
I have poor appetite and I am very desperate. Is it caused by my Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)?
Poor appetite is a common symptom of advanced kidney disease. It is mainly caused by lots of toxins and wastes deposition in your body. This can affect your digestive tract symptom and make you have no appetite at all. But it is important to eat and keep good nutrition even if you are not hungry. You can do the following things to get good nutrition:
Have several small meals instead of one large one
Boost the protein content of your meals by adding egg white, egg white powder or protein powder
Try a liquid nutritional drink like Boost and Ensure once a day
Try a new therapy which repairs your injured kidney tissues and improves your renal function. When your renal function is enhanced, your appetite will be improved. The new therapy is Chinese medicine treatments called Toxin-Removing Treatment. As its name suggests, it is a therapy to discharge toxins from your body. Toxin-Removing Treatment is a series of Chinese medicine treatments like Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Medicated Bath, Medicated Foot Bath, Mai Kang Mixture, Medicinal Soup, Moxibustion Therapy and Steaming Therapy, etc. Chinese medicines draw out toxins from your body by way of increasing your urine volume, improving your bowel movement and making you sweat a lot. This can give you a clean blood environment. A good blood environment is good for kidney tissues recovery. Toxin-Removing Treatment can restore injured kidney tissues and improve renal function through expanding blood vessels, improving blood circulation, preventing inflammation and coagulation, degrading extracellular matrix and providing nutrients.
You should treat your poor appetite in CKD from the root. Toxin-Removing Treatment is only available in China. You need to come to China for treatment.
